Within these firms, Alina has been involved in Eastern European and Middle East major projects, received intensive training in the banking department, which included a wide range of legal aspects focusing on both English and Romanian systems, carried out numerous legal due-diligence reports on leading financial entities and multinational and national companies (including major state owned companies such as oil and gas companies, metallurgy companies, chemical companies and mining companies), evaluated potential mergers and acquisitions as well as researched the opportunities of investing in various conglomerates.
Legal experience within London law firms was accompanied by theoretical preparation provided by the Legal Practice Course, College of Law – London and L.L.B. Business Law (Hons), London Guildhall University. During her career, Alina drafted and negotiated the terms and structure of various loan contracts (including loans over 30 million USD granted to the state by multinational entities), carried out numerous legal due-diligence on leading financial entities and multinational and national companies (including major state owned companies such as oil and gas companies, metallurgy companies, chemical companies and mining companies), evaluated potential mergers and acquisitions as well as researched the opportunities of investing in various conglomerates, dealt with major clients including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Reuters, Michelin and others.
In November 2002, having acquired tremendous experience in various areas of the business law, Alina set up her own law firm, Rosca Law Office, as co-founder, together with Sergiu Rosca, firm that is active not only in business law areas such as banking, competition, dispute resolution, competition, dispute resolution, employment, intellectual property, but also real estate, property law and litigation.
